Swiss investment manager, Vontobel said Yann Lepape, PhD has joined its Vontobel Asset Management bond team, specializing in Global Flexible Bonds.
Yann Lepape has over 20 years’ experience in macroeconomics, markets strategy and portfolio management. Prior to joining Vontobel Asset Management, he worked for Oddo BHF AM.
At Oddo BHF AM, Yann Lepape was a member of the Global Investment Committee and responsible for global macro analysis, the asset allocation of the balanced fund range (assets under management of CHF 8 bn) and the Portfolio Manager of emerging markets investments (equity, currencies and bonds).
Prior to Oddo BHF AM, he acted as a financial counselor of the French Treasury Department. Yann Lepape started his career in 1995 as a currency quantitative analyst at the proprietary trading desk of BNP Paribas. He received a MSc in Finance from ESC Lyon and gained a PhD in Economics from the CEFI of the University of Aix Marseille.
At Vontobel Asset Management, Yann will further strengthen the portfolio management and the macro economic analysis capacity of the Global Flexible team as well as contribute to the improvement of quantitative tools and models used by the team.
