AB InBev said it has appointed Lauren Abbott to the position of Global VP, Investor Relations, based in New York.
The company said in a statement that Lauren joined our company in 2014 in the Global Marketing team, where she held roles in planning and performance management and in the Consumer Connections team before joining the IR team in 2016 as Global Director, Investor Relations. Prior to joining AB InBev, she worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Emerging Markets Trading group as well as in private equity.
Lauren will take over from Henry Rudd, who after helping combine the best of both companies during the integration of AB InBev and SAB, will pursue his retirement as originally planned. Henry has spent the majority of his 28-year career with us across a number of finance and operational roles throughout Africa and China, in addition to his eight years in investor relations for both SAB and AB InBev. We thank Henry for his many contributions and his commitment to our company. We wish him all the best in the next chapter of his life.
Mariusz Jamka will continue in his role as Global Director, Investor Relations based in Leuven, Belgium.
Lauren’s successor as Global Director, Investor Relations, based in New York, will be announced at a later date.
Henry and Lauren will be working closely together on their transition in the coming weeks.
Our team will continue to support you with any request or questions you might have and we look forward to our continued dialogue.
