Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel will not be in action when the team plays Serbia in an international friendly match on Tuesday.
The Tiajin Teda midfielder was unable to make it for the Poland match a few days back due to work permit issues at his base in China.
Mikel expressed his frustrations via social media as he confirmed he would be missing the Serbia game in London.
“Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be on the field for our game v Serbia tomorrow,” Mikel shared via Twitter.
“I am sad, and frustrated, but giving my full support to the team for another win!”
The Gernot Rohr led side defeated Poland 1-0 in Wroclaw through a Victor Moses’ penalty kick in the first build up game to Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Tuesday’s game will kick off at 8pm at the Hive, Barnet FC Stadium, London.
