Brief: Nigeria’s inflation further slows in February

Latest data shows that inflation tendencies at Africa’s largest economy, Nigeria, slowed down to 14.33 percent for the month of February 2017.

The fall in inflation seems significant on a month on month basis given the fact that the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, said the figure was 15.33 percent in the month of January.

However, food inflation was still high but getting smaller at 17.59 percent compared to 18.92 percent in January.
