F&D rewards loyal customers in year-end contest

It was joy all the way for lucky customers of F&D Audio Equipment as the Nigeria’s most affordable premium speakers brand organized an award ceremony at the Ozone Cinemas, Yaba, to reward winners of its week-long karaoke contest.

The contest, which is part of a country-wide experiential campaign aimed at recognizing customers’ loyalty, allowed the audio brand connect with its numerous customers who were treated to karaoke music performances and instant giveaways while the competition lasted.

Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony on Wednesday December 27, Brand and Marketing Manager F&D Speakers, Mr. Anthony Onyemauwa, said the contest was aimed at making the yuletide more memorable for its customers courtesy of the rich audio experience of F&D speakers. Anthony, who highlighted the need for love and sharing during the season, said the contest allowed members of the public the opportunity to win instant prizes while feeding their passion for music.

As a rule of the contest, movie viewers and other members of the public were required to walk into the F&D Karaoke stand, and sing along to a song of their choice. The watching crowd was then required to choose the best performing contestant who either gets a branded t-shirt, a free movie ticket or a chance to get into the grand finale of the karaoke competition.

At the grand finale of the competition, a quintuplet of AdewaleAdefisayo, OgunnaikeModupe, Adung Catherine, Onuoha Vivian and Adewunmi Elush all emerged proud winners of world-class, premium F&D Home Theatre sound systems.

Commending F&D speakers through her Instagram handle, one of the winners, AdewaleAdefisayo, said: “I’m so happy seeing that my effort paid off. The contest itself was fun. Thank you F&D Nigeria for putting this amazing competition together.”

Vivian Onuoha, who could not hold her excitement following her emergence as winner, stated that she was skeptical about F&D’s promise, until she received her home theatre system at the prize giving ceremony. “At first, I was cynical because I didn’t believe that F&D would give out those awesome speakers, not until I received my home theatre. I want to say a big thank you to F&D for keeping their word and making my Christmas all the more beautiful.”

Explaining the rationale behind the festive promo, Anthony said the contest is part of F&D’s larger objective of deepening connections with consumers during major festivities riding the crest of its premium sound and quality audio devices.
