Julius Baer appoints Richard Campbell-Breeden to board

Julius Baer said it will propose Richard Campbell-Breeden for election as a new member of the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 11 April 2018.

The company said in a statement that Richard Campbell-Breeden is expected to become a member of the Board of Directors of Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., which is composed of the same members in identical responsibilities as the Board of Directors of Julius Baer Group Ltd.

Richard M. Campbell-Breeden can look back at a highly successful career in investment banking, with 27 years at Goldman Sachs in London, Hong Kong and New York, of which 16 years were spent as a Partner. His extensive expertise in serving as a trusted advisor to corporate clients and their Boards is complemented by his deep understanding of financial markets in general and capital markets in particular.

His experience in Asia, while based in Hong Kong, will be of particular relevance as Julius Baer further extends its business in China and throughout the region, and will make him an ideal addition to the Board.
