ex-EY executive Jan Babiak joins Euromoney’s board

Euromoney Institutional Investor said it has appointed Jan Babiak as an independent non-executive director. Babiak currently holds non-executive director roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance and Bank of Montreal.

She has previously held non-executive director roles at Royal Mail, Experian and Logica.

Babiak spent her executive career at EY including in various leadership roles focused on information security, cyber risk, regulation and public policy.

Jan Babiak was global leader of EY’s climate change and sustainability practice and also served on the EY governance and operational board for Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.

Euromoney is the world’s leading organiser of conferences for cross-border investment and capital markets for portfolio and direct investors, financial intermediaries, corporations, governments, banks and financial institutions.

The company created Euromoney magazine in 1969 to cover the re-emergence of the international cross-border capital markets. The euromarket, after which the magazine is named, is the predecessor to today’s mainstream global capital markets.
