Africa Prudential plc is reporting 59% increase in profit to NGN1.3 billion in nine months in the year 2017 compared to NGN822.5 million reported in the same period in the financial year 2016.
The company’s registrar fee income was NGN659.8 million in 2017 compared to NGN626.6 million in the year before while net investment income stood at NGN1.6 billion against NGN902.0 million in the previous year.
Investment income for the period was NGN2.2 billion against NGN1.5 billion in the year 2016 while impairment loss was increased to NGN100.0 million from NGN50.7 million in the year before. Depreciation and Amortization also increased to NGN36.0 million against NGN32.4 million in 2016.
Africa Prudential said its total asset was NGN16.9 billion compared to NGN16.8 billion acquired in the year before while total liabilities was NGN11.5 billion versus NGN12.2 billion in 2016.
