As from today, PageOne.ng, Nigeria’s leading business, financial and investment news and information site has started accepting payment in Bitcoin.
This decision will make PageOne.ng Nigeria’s first digital news publisher to accept payment in Bitcoin or any digital currency.
Advertisers, clients and startups can now pay for sponsored posts, banner campaigns with Bitcoin.
Commenting on the matter, Samuel Odusami, Founder of PageOne.ng said: “Our decision to accept payment in Bitcoin is part of our vision to be different in an innovative way and it further syncs into our ‘glocal’ positioning.
“We will also increase our reach to global clients and advertisers who want to reach Africa business and financial community,” he said.
PageOne.ng also accepts payment via Paypal for international advertisers and clients who want to other options of payment.
