Israel’s Elbit Systems said its gross revenue for the second quarter rose to USD818.3 million compared to USD804.5 million reported within the same quarter last year.
Elbit Systems is an electronic defense manufacturer based in Haifa, Israel. For the second quarter, the company’s revenue was boosted by sales in Europe, America, and Africa.
The company’s order backlog rose to USD7.33 billion at the end of June from USD6.82 billion a year earlier. The comnpany disclosed that 72% of the backlog were orders from abroad, while 57% of the backlog was for delivery in 2017 and 2018.
