A private debt manager specializing in U.S. corporate and structured credit strategies, CIFC said John DiRocco has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. DiRocco will oversee non-investment functions as well as the expansion of the firm’s investment product offerings in the United States and internationally. Previously, Mr. DiRocco served as Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of credit investment firm Reef Road Capital LLC. Mr. DiRocco will be based in New York and report to CIFC’s Co-CEOs Oliver Wriedt and Steve Vaccaro.

Throughout his career, Mr. John Dirocco has served as Chief Financial Officer at Citadel Investment Group and held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Paloma Partners LP. He also oversaw several of Shearson Lehman’s businesses and founded international financing and securities lending intermediary, London Global Securities. Mr. DiRocco has been internationally recognized for his contributions to the securities industry, having established broker dealers in five different countries and two technology firms.
