Transcorp picks Mutiu Bakare as chief financial officer

Transnational Corporation of Nigeria said it has appointed Mutiu Bakare as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from August 7, 2017.

The company said in a statement that Bakare Mutiu is an astute finance professional with over 15 years’ experience in Finance Management. He holds a first class degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, He Ife, Osun state; an MBA (with distinction) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, as well as an M.Sc. in Finance and Investment from the University of Leeds, also in the United Kingdom. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Mutiu Bakare brings enormous wealth of financial management experience to his new position in Transcorp. He began his finance career in Akintola Williams Deloitte. He has also worked with KPMG Professional Services and Shell Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrators Ltd.
