Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc is reporting 4% rise in profit to NGN318.7 million for the second half of the year compared to NGN307.3 million in the same period in the fiscal year 2016.
The insurance company recorded NGN2.1 billion gross income for the period against NGN1.9 billion in the previous year and net income was NGN1.2 billion against NGN1.2 billion posted in 2016.
Law Union and Rock insurance said its total assets at the end of the period was NGN10.6 billion compared to NGN8.9 billion acquired in the year before while total liabilities was NGN4.5 billion versus NGN4.2 billion in 2016.
