United Kingdom’s Serious Fraud Office said it is investigating Rio Tinto for alleged corrupt practices surrounding its conduct of business.
The Serious Fraud Office said shortly that:
“The Serious Fraud Office has opened an investigation into suspected corruption in the conduct of business in the Republic of Guinea by the Rio Tinto group, its employees and others associated with it.”
Rio Tinto could not be reached for a statement on the matter immediately.
