Lebohang Mofokeng is a 23 year old graduate from Welkom. He describes himself as a nerd and enjoys gaming, computing and problem solving. He has BTech: Metallurgical Engineering (cum laude) UJ, National Diploma (Metallurgical Engineering) cum laude.
He has numerous achievements under his belt including earning 20 distinctions (3 distinctions at B Tech and 17 distinctions at ND levels). He has also received recognition as the best final year Metallurgy student in SA (offered by FOSECO), a top 10 Achiever Award in first year, Top Learner award in Matric (Free State province), Dux Learner recognition, twice winner of the DST Science quiz, and has been on the Dean’s Honours rollover list three times.
His past leadership roles include being an SRC president and have led him to receiving a Junior Civil Guard of Honour at the South African Parliament (2009). He is a Trainee Investment Analyst at Argon Asset Management.
