Mothobi Seseli co-founded Argon Asset Management in April 2005. He has MA (Economics) RAU, IoD (SA) Certified Director, EPGC (Stanford Univ Graduate School of Business) USA, Private Equity Executive Programme (Saïd Bus School, Oxford University) UK, Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business (Oxford University).
He has wide-ranging experience from firms such as the South African subsidiary of the NYSE listed Alliance Capital Management LP (now called Alliance Bernstein), Alexander Forbes and Investec Asset Management. An economist by training, his deep understanding of the core drivers of the investment industry is from nearly two decades of consulting, business development, investment analysis and economic research experience. He also previously ran his own trustee training business and lectured postgraduate economics on a part-time basis. Mothobi is a regular presenter at industry conferences.
