Africa Prudential profit rose by 229% in Q2

Africa Prudential plc is reporting 229% rise in profit to NGN864.2 million for second quarter 2017 compared to NGN262.2 million reported same period in the financial year 2016.

Net investment income rose to NGN1.0 billion net investment income in 2017 in contrast to NGN535.7 million recorded in the previous year. Its impairment loss for the period stood at NGN62.5 million.

Total asset stood at NGN18.6 billion against NGN16.7 billion recorded in the fiscal year 2016 while its total liabilities was NGN13.7 billion against NGN12.8 billion recorded in the year before.
