Morningstar appoints Jason Dubinsky as CFO

Morningstar, Inc. has appointed Jason Dubinsky as its chief financial officer. He is most recently serving as senior vice president and CFO of planning and central operations for Walgreens Boots Alliance.

Dubinsky has more than 12 years of finance, accounting and investment experience. He spent the last three years at Goldman Sachs, a $64.5 billion global bank holding company, where he led merger and acquisition transactions, and managed strategic advisory and financing assignments for corporate clients in the retail and consumer sectors.

Previously, Jason Dubinsky served as vice president of investment banking at Lehman Brothers and was with the firm from 2000-2006. Prior to that, he held a senior accountant position with Arthur Andersen in New York.

Jason Dubinsky earned an MBA in finance and management from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business in 2000, as well as a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and finance from the University of Michigan in 1995.
