Dr. Okechukwu Mbonu is a Partner and an Executive Director in Execution Edge Limited. Dr. Mbonu studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK, where he obtained a BSc (First Class Honors, 1977) and a PhD (1982).
He started his career as an engineer with Nigerian Breweries Plc in 1982 and became the Engineering Manager in 1992. In 1996, he was “seconded” to Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) to set up the Special Intensive Technical Training Programme (SITP) for fresh graduates.
He returned to NB Plc in January, 1999 and served as the Executive Director Human Resource and Customer Service. Thereafter, he was appointed the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Leone Brewery Limited (SLBL), Sierra Leone.
He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in November 2009, bringing practical Board and management experience and vast knowledge of leadership and board dynamics.
