As part of steps to restructure for ‘viability’ AngloGold, South Africa’s gold miner and the largest in Africa might be cutting close to 8,500 jobs.
The gold miner is struggling to grow its business as commodity prices went down the hill. AngloGold has over 28,000 workers across the country.
AngloGold said it will cut those jobs to increase its margin which is becoming far smaller.
