KAS Eupen striker Onyekuru joins Everton

KAS Eupen of Belgium striker Henry Onyekuru has agreed to join English premier league side, Everton, but will be on loan to Anderlecht for next season.

The 20 year old had a standout season in Belgium’s top flight with KAS Eupen in which he finished top scorer with 22 goals in 38 games, and haa since been linked with a number of clubs including Arsenal.

Having agreed personal terms, Onyekuru underwent a medical at Everton on Monday, several media outlets said. According top reports, Onyekuru will earn around GBP40,000

Onyekuru, who has won one cap for the Super Eagles in a friendly match, will become Everton’s third signing of the summer. Jordan Pickford arrived from Sunderland for GBP30 million and midfielder Davy Klaassen cost 25 million pounds from Ajax.

Spain under-21 striker Sandro Ramirez has also been linked with the Merseyside club.
