Moya Greene joins easyJet as non-Executive Director

Budget airline, easyJet said it has appointed Moya Greene as a Non-Executive Director to take effect from 1st of September 2017.

“I am delighted that Moya will be joining the Board. Her logistics and transport background, strategic awareness and FTSE100 CEO experience will further strengthen the diverse mix of expertise and experience on the Board. We very much look forward to her joining us.”

easyJet also announces that François Rubichon will be stepping down as Non-Executive Director on 22 July 2017 following completion of three years on the Board, and Keith Hamill will retire from the Board as Non-Executive Director on 31 July 2017 having served over eight years.

John Barton, Chairman said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Keith and François for their important contribution to the easyJet Board and to easyJet’s success.

“Keith brought great insight and acumen to Board discussions over an eight year period helping the airline deliver industry leading returns to our shareholders. François brought a valuable European perspective and sensibility to the Board in keeping with easyJet’s growing European network.

“Both leave easyJet with our gratitude and best wishes.”

Moya Greene has been Chief Executive Officer of Royal Mail Group since July 2010. Prior to joining Royal Mail, Moya was CEO of Canada Post. She is also on the Board of Trustees for the Tate Gallery.

easyJet disclosed that Moya is a director of the Royal Mail Group plc. Moya has been within the last five years, but is no longer, a non-executive director of Great West LifeCo and Tim Hortons Inc, both publicly quoted companies in Canada at the time of Moya’s directorships.
