Honeywell Flour Mills Plc s aid Mrs. Oluseye Sandey has resigned from the Board of the company with effect from the 28th of April, 2017, in order to pursue her personal goals.
The company said her resignation letter will be tabled before the Board of Directors during its quarterly meeting in June 2017.
Mrs. Oluseye Sandey started her career with Akintola Williams Deloitte & Co. where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988. In June 1994, she joined Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited as Budget Manager for the Nigeria Region and served as the Nigeria Region Treasury Manager and Accounting Manager between March 1996 and July 2002. In August 2002, she was appointed Region Finance Manager for Coca-Cola West Africa Region based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
In this role, she had responsibility for end-to-end Finance Operations for 23 Countries in West and Central Africa. In August 2003, she moved to CocaCola Export Corporation, based in Casablanca, Morocco as Region Finance Manager for 24 Countries in North and West Africa. In 2005, she was appointed to the Board of Coca-Cola Nigeria and Equatorial Africa as the Division Finance Director for 10 Countries in West Africa, including Nigeria. She moved to a Strategy role in 2009 as Business Development Director for the North and West Africa Division of Coca-Cola where she had responsibility for implementing new business opportunities in Nigeria and the Equatorial Africa countries.
In 2010, Oluseye Sandey moved to Coca-Cola South Africa as the Finance Operations Director for Africa responsible for providing Financial Services to all Coca-Cola Business Units in Africa, Middle East and Pakistan. She held this position until August 2014 when she returned to Nigeria after 20 years of service with Coca-Cola. Before her Board appointment, Sandey had joined Honeywell Flour Mills Plc as Finance & IT Director in September 2015 and has responsibility for managing the Finance and IT teams. Her key focus areas were Strategy, Organization Design and Process, Planning, Business Partnership, Risk Compliance and People Development.
