Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Director, Petralon

Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede retired as Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank in December 2013. His leadership witnessed the transformation of the institution into a Tier One bank and one of the largest Banks in Nigeria. He had a highly successful career at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc where he resigned as Executive Director in 2002 to lead the Access Bank transformation team. He is currently the President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Chairman of Coronation Capital, he was Chairman of FMDQ, an OTC Exchange that serves Nigeria’s FX and Money Markets.

Aigboje is the Chairman of Wapic Insurance Group, an emerging West African Underwriter. He also serves on the Board of the Africa Finance Corporation.

He is the recipient of several awards and National Honours including African Banker of the Year (African Banker), West African Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young) and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).

He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School having attended its Executive Management Programme and also an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede holds an LLB degree from the University of Benin and is qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
