
The Management of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc said it is unable to file the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2016.
The company said it failed to meet the deadline within the extended due date as approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange and published in the New Telegraph and Independent newspapers of 7th April, 2017 respectively.
“Consequently, the Company is also unable to file its Management Account for period ended 31st March, 2017 within the extended due date as approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (“The Exchange”) and published in the New Telegraph and Independent newspapers of 18th April, 2017 respectively”.
“The Company has submitted its Audited Financial Statements for year ended 31 December 2016 to its Primary Regulator, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and is awaiting approval before submission to the Nigerian Stock Exchange”.
“We are therefore optimistic that submission will be done on or before the 30th of June, 2017”, the statement said.
