Meyer PLC has appointed Mr. Abiodun Yusuf as the Chief Financial Officer of the company.
The appointment of Mr. Abiodun Yusuf follows the resignation of Mr. Olukayode Tijani has resigned as the finance Director of Meyer plc with effect from 28TH February 2016. Following his resignation,
Mr. Olukayode Abayomi Tijani, also known as Kayode, FCA, ACS, ACIT, has been Finance Director of DN Meyer Plc since March 2015. Mr. Tijani has over 30 years working experience in the financial sector of the Economy and the capital market. He commenced his professional career with Akintola Williams & Co. (now Deloitte), as a Qualified Trainee in 1989 and served as Assistant Manager in 1993 to join First City Merchant Bank Ltd (FCMB) as Head of Fincon and later as Head
He left the Financial Sector of the Economy in 2000 to join the Telecommunications Industry as Regional Financial Controller (West Africa) for SITA Telecommunications Nigeria Ltd. He returned to the Capital Market in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer of Goldbanc Management Associates Ltd (GMA): (An Issuing House and Investment Banking Outfit). He is a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and an authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He has been a Director of DN Meyer Plc since March 2015.
