The Nigeria Football Federation has entered into a 5-year sponsorship deal worth NGN 2.5 billion with Aiteo, an Oil company. President of the NFF Amaju Pinnick and his vice Seyi Akinwunmi were at Eko Hotel Lagos to sign the corporate agreement between both parties.

According to Aiteo, the deal covers all the national teams under the federation.
The partnership, which is the first in-country sports sponsorship for the energy giant, will start on 1st May 2017, and has an initial option of one-year extension.

The company is the successor entity to Sigmund Communnecci Limited.The company has significant business interests in oil and gas exploration and production; bulk petroleum storage; refining of petroleum products; trading, marketing and supply as well as power generation and distribution.
