CBN invites bid for IT communication links

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is inviting sealed bids from bidders for the lease of IT communication links to all CBN locations.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being extended to a set of eligible and competent Providers.

The apex bank stipulated in a communique that Proposals from single Providers or from multiple Providers working together as a team will both be considered. The ideal Provider(s) of the communication links will have certified knowledge and verifiable capacity and experience in the telecommunication industry.

However, experience in the public or banking sector is preferred, but not mandatory.

The scope of the bid requested is to implement leased lines to interconnect the Bank’s three (3) Data Centers (two in Abuja and one in Lagos) to each of her thirty-eight (38) Locations in different parts of the country.

Interested companies who possess the stipulated minimum requirements may collect the bidding documents on the payment of a non-refundable fee of NGN30, 000.00 Bank Draft in favour of Central Bank of Nigeria.  Companies and vendors wishing to provide the service to CBN are required to submit their documents for verification.

All submissions must be received at the above Office not later than 12:00 Noon on 25th May, 2017. While the Opening Date The pre-qualification and Technical Proposal will be opened immediately, after close of submission of the bid on 25th May, 2017.
