Believing Barcelona’s comeback dream against Juventus

Just like many who believe in the christian faith are looking forward to the second coming of Jesus, so do Barcelona dream of an epic comeback .

The Catalans on Wednesday host Juventus in the champions league quarter final second leg encounter at at Camp Nou, hoping to repeat the famous 4-0 come back they produced against Paris Saint German when it was most difficult.

It is indeed a difficult task many would say, but as they say, impossible is nothing especially in the game of football. Barcelona failed to see the back of the net as they fell 3-0 in Turin last week in what could be described as ‘a Juve day’.

“We have to believe we can do it,” Neymar told Canal Esporte Interativo. “We can be behind any team, but at Barcelona it’s always the same: We can do it.

“If everything goes well, another comeback will happen, I believe in the team and in our potential. Everything is lost, so we have nothing to lose and everything to win.”

“Juventus are a great team, very well structured, so it will be difficult to have to turn the tie. It is the same as the situation against the PSG.

“We have a one percent chance of qualifying and the remaining 99 per cent is work, faith and, god willing, goals. They are going to arrive.”

There is absolutely nothing wrong in believing they can do it,in fact the team is one that can produce a spectacular performance when needed, but the catalans would need to produce more that they gave in the match against PSG. It is also important to state that Juve is a team well set up to defend, fight, and burst forward for goals.

“It would be foolish to go to Barcelona just to defend the 3-0 lead. We know it and everyone else knows it too. Keeping another clean sheet will be extremely difficult. We know full well that we have to score ourselves, – defender Giorgio Chiellini told the Juve’s official website.

“If we can keep their key players away from danger, press them high up the field and remain compact and organized, it will make life very difficult for them. If we go there, sit back and try to soak up pressure, we will lose.”

Juventus would look to progress having secured the much needed home victory, bench-marking on their champions league form both home and away.
