CWG has also informed the NSE that the company’s 2016 financial report will be delayed.
A statement sent to the NSE said “The Management of CWG PLC would like to advise its stakeholders of a delay to the publishing of its results for the year ended 31 December 2016”.
The audit exercise for the group is yet to be concluded and consolidated, as some of the CWG PLC foreign subsidiaries are yet to conclude on the audit of their Financial Statements.
We however expect the consolidation of the Group’s accounts and approval by the Board of Directors for onward submission to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) to be concluded on or before 28th April 2017.
