Aliyu Atiku is an Information Technology Specialist with more than 14 years’ experience in requirement analysis, system analysis, system design, programming, relational database, system administration and information technology management in ICT, Telecommunications and Pension Industries.
Before his current appointment he was the Head, Client Managament Services Unit in charge of customer service delivery improvement drives and technologies as well as clients’ data management.
Aliyu Atiku joined the Sigma Pensions Limited in 2013 from Premium Pension Limited where he had served as the Head, Information Technology Department from Feb, 2008 to April, 2013. As Head, IT he managed the implementation and running of the information systems of the company and established a track record for accomplishing tasks through optimum utilization of allocated resources. He was also responsible for the design of various interfaces between applications used within the company.
Aliyu Atiku was the Head, System Administration in the Information Technology Department of Nigeria Telecommunications Ltd (NITEL) and Lead the Test / Project Team that saw the successful deployment of the most ambitious end-to-end revenue assurance Mediation, Interconnect and International Calls Reconciliation Project code named NIIMA. Before joining NITEL he was a Lecturer at Waziri Umar Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi teaching Computer Science. His short stay in the Polytechnic witnessed the introduction of Diploma Course in Computer Studies and re-structuring of the Computer Centre to NBTE’s Standard.
Aliyu Atiku has attended many courses including CIO 360 Degree Course-IT Management Boot Camp, Six Sigma Black Belt, Operational Risk Management, Oracle Database Administration, Intermediate Essentials and Administration, Intermediate GDC Scripting Course and Sun Solaris Administration.
