
Standard Alliance Insurance will be delaying its 2016 full year results to an unknown date. In statement released to its shareholders, the company said:
In compliance with the Post Listing Rules of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (“The Exchange”), Standard Alliance Insurance plc wish to inform the investing public and its shareholders that it will be unable to file the Audited Financial Statements for year ended 31 December 2016 within the regulatory specified period.
The Company is yet to conclude the Audit of its Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 as a result of its Merger with Standard Life Assurance Limited.
Consequently, the Company shall submit same to The Exchange as soon as the audit exercise is concluded and approved by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
