Texton Property has announced the resignation of Ms. Brigitte de Bruyn with effect from 30 June 2017,
The company said via a SENS announcement on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange that Ms. Brigitte de Bruyn has resigned from her position as financial director of the Company to pursue her own interests.
“The Board wishes to express its appreciation to Brigitte for her dedication and contribution to the Company, and wishes her every success in the future”
“The Company has commenced the process of appointing a suitable replacement and expects to make an announcement in this regard in the near future”, the company said in the statement.
According to her profile, Ms. Brigitte De Bruyn, BCom, BACC, CA (SA) has been Financial Director of Texton Property Fund Limited since November 1, 2015. Ms. De Bruyn served as Financial Director of Dipula Income Fund Limited.
She joined Dipula from Grapnel Property Group (Proprietary) Limited, where she served Financial Director. She served her articles as a chartered accountant at Deloitte & Touche Audit Division and in 1999 she gained international experience with Deloitte & Touche Los Angeles.
She held various positions in Deloitte & Touche Special Services Group, a consulting division within it, from 1999 to December 2005, including a secondment to Zurich, Switzerland. She also has over 10 years’ experience as a Asset Manager for Sycom Property Fund Limited and Hospitality Property Fund Limited. She served in senior manager role and a member of the Executive Committee of the Special Services Group since 2004. She has been Director of Texton Property Fund Limited since November 1, 2015.
She served as an Executive Director of Dipula Income Fund Limited from May 20, 2011 to August 31, 2015. She holds a Bcom, Bacc and Ca (Sa).
