Urlivestream disappoints in Nigeria vs Senegal match, promises refund

Urlivestream, (Urlivestream.com) a site which promised Nigerians of live coverage of the international friendly between Nigeria and Senegal after failing to live up to its billing has promised to refund.

Nigerians and football enthusiasts had paid a total amount of NGN500 to watch the game live on internet but could not connect for technical reasons as attributed by the site administrators.

The above statement is the message on Urlivestream site as at 7.30am on Friday morning.

Upon its inability to broadcast the match live, administrators published a message apologizing for the disappointment. ‘ We are sorry for our inability to bring you the match, we lost feed and connection with our London partners have deployed all available resources to regain connection. Please bear with us.’

It however appeared that the site could not connect to the match which saw the teams share spoils as the match ended in a 1-1 draw with Musa Sow and Kelechi Iheanacho providing the goals.

Senegal drew the first blood while Nigeria scored from the penalty spot after about 80′ minutes to put the game at per.

However, some Nigerians in London were able to broadcast the match via Facebook live although with poor pictures but fans were able to catch a glimpse.

While Nigerians who had paid NGN500 to Urlivestream.com wait for the refund in the next seven days as promised, it is also important to note that the payment platform was powered by Paystack.
