Tandi Nzimande and Robert Larson join Hulamin

In line with the succession plan of its board, Hulamin Limited has appointed Ms Tandi Nzimande (46) and Mr Robert Larson(61) have been appointed as non-executive directors on the board with effect from 1 April
2017.

Tandi Nzimande, a chartered accountant, has had a varied career, spanning corporate finance at Deutsche Securities, running her own small business and until 2016, being CFO at WDB Investment Holdings, a women’s empowerment company formed by the WDB Trust to support its programmes targeted at poor rural women. Tandi is a trustee of the Hollard Foundation Trust (HFT) and sits on the boards of Harambee, a youth employment accelerator and the KYB ECB Incubator, both programmes of the HFT. Tandi also sits on the FirstRand and Verimark boards.

Tandi has wide board experience and her previous boards include Outsurance, Rennies Travel and Masana Fuel Solutions. Tandi has recently launched her own business focussed on executive coaching, Akho Coaching and Consulting.

Robert Larson has a career that spanned nearly 40 years, Bob most recently served as CEO of Novipax LLC, the leading producer of absorbent pads and expanded polystyrene foam trays in North America. In addition to his role as CEO of Novipax, Bob served as an Operating Partner of Atlas Holdings LLC and was instrumental in the private equity firm’s acquisition of Alcoa’s aluminium rolled products business in Europe in 2014. Prior to joining Novipax, Bob spent nearly six years with The Rank Group Limited, a private investment firm based in New Zealand. Before Rank, Bob enjoyed a successful career with Alcoa.
