Dr. Ruben Richards is the Non Executive Chairman of Visual Property Developer.
He has a PhD, MTh, BD, BSocSc, NTC 5 and he is Currently Chairperson, Board of Governors – Westerford High School and Claremont High School, Cape Town Currently Chairperson of the Advisory Board – Entrepreneurship Department, Faculty of Business, Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
He is also the Deputy Chairperson – communiTgrow (Pty) Ltd – an urban development agency with a vision to build cities in Africa; 2013 Democratic Governance Consultant – United Nations Development Program, Accra, Ghana. 2009 – 2011 Visiting Adjunct Professor, Graduate School of Public and Development Management, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg; 2006 – 2009 Non-Executive Director of Audit Committee, Africa Cellular Towers (an Alt-X listed company); 2006 – 2009 CEO, Globe Engineering Works, Cape Town; 1999 – 2004 Founding Deputy Director-General, Directorate of Special Operations (Scorpions); 1995-1998 Executive Secretary, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of South Africa (TRC).
