
Africa’s largest mobile carrier, MTN Group has issued a statement disclosing that angry protesters damaged several property at its Abuja head office.
The madness happening in South Africa where Nigerians are killed like animals in broad day light has finally led to a collateral damage for MTN in Nigeria.
“Reacting to recent events that appear to be directed against non-nationals both in South Africa and Nigeria, MTN Group expresses concern over the violence,” the group said in a statement.
Nigerian protesters attacked and vandalised the head office of Africa’s biggest mobile firm in Abuja in apparent retaliation for anti-Nigerian violence in South Africa.
Tagged as xenophobia, several Nigerians have been killed in South Africa by South Africans over the years. Nigerians have not been reported to have attacked any South African property in Nigeria.
The lack of serious of South African government and a laid back Nigerian government on the issue has led to the loss of many Nigerian lives and property.
Nigeria has over the years contributed to the socio-democratic development of South Africa. This has become a broken record of the Nigerian company in persuading millions of restive South Africans who murder Nigerians on the pretext of drug crimes and business related matters.
