Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) has announced the appointment of Chienye Ogwo as its Chief Executive Officer.
Chienye Ogwo has an LL.B from the University of Lagos, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School and an M.S. in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Chienye Ogwo was at the helm of affairs at Union Bank of Nigeria, in developing strategies for the implementation of the bank’s transformation initiatives, and facilitating buy-in amongst internal and external stakeholders.
Commenting on the announcement, the Founder and Chairman of the Africa Initiative for Governance, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, stated that, “Chienye brings a valuable blend of experience to the organisation and we look forward to working with her as we forge ahead towards the attainment of our goals.”
