Manchester United Plc posts FKP17.5 million for Q4 2016

Manchester United plc in its released financial result indicating a net income of FKP17.5 million for Q4 2016 in contrast to FKP18.2 million recorded same period in 2015, which represents 5.9% loss on a quarterly comparison.

Manchester United Plc operating profit for Q4 2016 rose to FKP37.6 million compared to FKP32.6 million recorded in fiscal year 2015.

The company started the year 2016 with a total revenue of FKP157.9 million in contrast to FKP133.6 million it recorded in 2015.

Manchester United Plc recorded total assets of FKP1.4 billion for Q4 2016 in contrast to FKP1.2 billion posted same period 2015. The company recorded total liabilities of FKP1.4 billion in contrast to FKP1.2 billion recorded same period in 2015.

Ed Woodward, Executive Vice Chairman, commented, “We are pleased to be competing for the first available trophy of the season when we travel to Wembley to face Southampton in the EFL Cup final this month. The robustness of our business model continues to be reflected in our strong quarterly financial results and we remain on track to deliver record revenues for the year.”
