WPP looks to Marianne Admardatine to drive growth in Indonesia

In line with its global restructuring, Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia has given Marianne Admardatine as new role as the Chief Growth Officer for the WPP agency.

In an email statement, WPP said Marianne Admardatine has been promoted from her current position as Head of Corporate Communications and Business Development.

WPP said she will continue to hold the Managing Director position for both Ogilvy Public Relations and Pulse Communications, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia.

“Every company today talks about the importance of growth and there is no one better to tackle this challenge than someone as connected and strategic as Marianne,” said Scott Kronick, CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations in Asia Pacific. “Local connectedness is critical to business success for agencies of the future and that is what Marianne brings to her clients. She understands the local market deeply and knows how to apply such insights to help her clients grow.”

Katryna Mojica, Technical Advisor of Ogilvy Indonesia, who was also recently announced to be taking up the role of Chief Executive Officer for Ogilvy Hong Kong, said, “Marianne has been instrumental in accelerating the growth of our public relations offerings, and I am delighted that she has taken on this wider and important role for Ogilvy. She has a natural ability to envision what’s possible and create opportunities, skills that are key to anticipating clients’ needs and continuously evolving our services and capabilities.” Recently, in recognition of its success and constant innovations, Ogilvy Indonesia was crowned as the 2016 Indonesia Creative Agency of the Year at the Campaign Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year Awards. Ogilvy Indonesia also drove double-digit growth in 2016.

“Ogilvy has been in Indonesia for more than 40 years, during which we have evolved to be a fully integrated agency for our clients. Moving forward we will continue to do so in a more seamless structure while providing expertise in each communication channel. I am excited and honoured to be chosen for the task”.
