The Securities and Exchange Commission has banned Ideal Securities & Investment Limited from all capital markets operations after the company was found guilty of irregularities.
The SEC said it received a complaint from Mr. George Nchedo Okafor alleging various misconducts against the Ideal Securities.
The Administrative Proceedings Committee (APC) said pursuant to this complaint, the Commission conducted investigations and observed that the respondent had carried out actions which were in breach of the provisions of the Investment and Securities Act 2007, as well as the SEC Rules and Regulations.
