University press plc in its financial result for third quarter 2016, reported gross income of NGN193.9 million in contrast to NGN115.9 recorded same period 2015 which represents 68% on quarter to quarter comparison.
The company reported total assets of NGN3.6 billion in financial year 2016 compared to NGN3.1 billion recorded in fiscal year 2015. It recorded total liabilities of 1.1 billion for q3 2016 in contrast to NGN779.3 million recorded same period 2015.
University press plc posted operating profit of NGN193.8 million compared to NGN115.1 million posted same period 2015.
University Press Plc (UPPLC) is Nigeria’s largest indigenous book publisher. It was founded as the Nigerian branch of the British Oxford University Press in 1949 with the name Oxford University Press (OUP), Nigeria. At incorporation as a public liability company in 1978, the company’s name was changed to University Press Limited.
