Dr. Olubola Adekunle Hassan retires from Diamond Bank Plc

Diamond bank Plc has announced the retirement of Dr. Olubola Adekunle Hassan from its board and effective from December 21st,2016.

Profile of Dr. Olubola Adekunle Hassan

Dr. Olubola Adekunle Hassan, M.B, B.S, D.O, FRCS, FRCOPH, FWACS, serves as the Chief Medical Director of the Eye Foundation Hospital Group in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Hassan has over 20 years of experience in corporate administrative and financial management roles in the areas of healthcare finance and micro-finance.

He serves as the Executive Chairman of Lihaone Economic Development Foundation (Microfinance) and Health Partners. He serves as the Chairman of Summit Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Lagos. He has been a Non Executive Director of Diamond Bank Plc since 2005. He served as a Director of DBSL Securities Ltd.

He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, United Kingdom. Dr. Hassan holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from the University of Lagos and a Diploma of Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ireland.
