Rhidwaan Gasant was appointed to the board of AngloGold Ashanti on 12 August 2010 and is chairman of the Risk and Information Integrity Committee, as well as a member of the Audit and Corporate Governance, Nominations and Financial Analysis Committees.
He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Energy Africa Limited and a former finance director of Engen Ltd and sits on the board of South African and international non-public companies in the MTN Group.
