Lynda Eatwell joined AngloGold in 2000 as assistant company secretary and was appointed company secretary in December 2006.
She is responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements and the regulations of the stock exchanges on which AngloGold Ashanti is listed.
She also advises members of the board on their duties and responsibilities as directors.
