Convicted ex-governor of Delta State James Ibori has been released from prison in the United Kingdom after serving out his jail term.
Ibori was jailed for money laundering offences by Southwark Crown court in London as far back as 2012
According to reliable sources quoted by Vanguard Newspaper, Ibori was released in about 12 pm London time.
Sources in London told PageOne Politics that his return to Nigeria might not be immediate, given the circumstances that led to his conviction for money laundering back in 2012.
