Matilda Asante-Asiedu is a seasoned Marketing Communications and Brand Management Specialist with over 17 years’ experience spanning Communications and Media practice.
She worked as a News Anchor and Editor at Ghana’s foremost private media organization- Joy FM and was for more than a decade, one of the most influential journalists’ in Ghana, shaping national discourse.
Prior to taking up her current assignment as Head of Private and Women Banking at Access Bank Ghana, Matilda managed the Corporate Communications and Brand Management functions of the Bank, projecting the Access brand and promoting effective client and stakeholder relations.
Matilda Asante-Asiedu is a fellow of the Les Aspin Centre for Governance USA, One World Broadcast Trust UK, and the International Women’s Media Forum USA.
She holds a Masters in Media Studies from the Cardiff University in the United Kingdom as well as several post-graduate diplomas in Marketing Communications, Brand Management and Journalism. She is also an alumni of The Wharton School programme on operational efficiency, leadership and people management at University of Pennsylvania.
