Dana Airline has denied rumours making the rounds about a plane crash in Lagos.
‘The report about a plane crash some where in Lagos is entirely untrue and should be disregarded, – the Airline said in a tweet that the report was untrue.
Further on its twitter account, the airline went ahead to douse the tension with the following statement:
‘1. At Dana Air, the safety and comfort of our guests and crew is a major priority to us and we will continue to adhere strictly to all local and international regulations in the delivery of safe, reliable and world-class air transport.
‘At Dana Air, the safety and comfort of our guests and crew is a major priority to us…’
The airline which suffered a crash in 2012, had its licence suspended but it resumed flights in 2014 after clearance by Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority to resume flights. It now has six planes in its fleet.
