NK Somani is a Senior Operating Partner at Verod, where he plays an active role in overseeing and implementing strategy and operational efficiency across Verod’s portfolio companies. He has over 38 years’ experience in management, particularly growing industry leaders in Nigeria. His prior experience includes being Managing Director/CEO of Dangote Sugar, a company with a turnover of $700 million and 750 workers, which he took public, and Group Managing Director/CEO of Dangote Flour, where he managed 12 plants and over 1950 workers. Previously, he held the roles of Group Executive Director at Churchgate Group (Nigeria), responsible for driving ambitions growth plans and profitability, CEO at Auditek Systems (India) Limited and Commercial Executive at Bharat Commerce and Industries Limited (India).
NK Somani is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (India) and has a Bachelor of Science from University of Rajasthan in India.
