Chief Ernest Shonekan is a founder and a Non-Executive Partner of African Capital Alliance (ACA).
Chief Ernest Shonekan has had a distinguished career in business and government, having served as Chairman and Managing Director of UAC of Nigeria Plc (a former subsidiary of Unilever), Nigerian Head of State, and Chairman of the Vision 2010 Committee.
He was awarded the “Commander of Most Excellent Order of British Empire” by Queen Elizabeth II and “Grand Officer dans 1’Ordre de la Legion d’Honneur” by President Chirac.
Chief Shonekan holds a law degree from the University of London and is a member of the English and Nigerian Bars. In addition, he completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
He is a member of various corporate boards, including the Nigerian-German Chemicals Plc and MAERSK Line Nigeria Limited.
